A Current Affair

In 1998 A Current Affair ran a story accusing Life Integration Programmes of being a cult and Natasha Lakaev a cult leader, based on the say so of a handful of jealous and vindictive individuals, without conducting any research of the facts.

If you watch these complete videos of the interview, and then watch the footage of the show that went to air, it is obvious that ACA manipulated and fabricated information and took information out of context to portray a totally negative and untrue tale.

A Current Affair did not follow the Journalists Code of Ethics in any way to ensure a balanced story by researching both sides of the story. See the links here to all the letters submitted to A Current Affair prior to the story being aired by previous students of Life Integration Programmes (LIP) courses or people associated with LIP. Despite repeated efforts of people to contact ACA before the show was aired in order to provide their side of the story, ACA did not respond, except in an aggressive and biased manner e.g., see the link to telephone conversations made to ACA by previous students and current instructors of the LIP courses.

ACA illegally trespassed on private property and filmed the LIP course The Final Step, invading the privacy of the students without their consent and then proceeded to portray them as mindless cult members on National TV. Despite repeated requests and Letters from Students of The Final Step by students from the course The Final Step to not show any footage of themselves on TV without their expressed permission, ACA ignored these requests and aired whatever they wanted.

The effects of David Margan`s (presenter) and ACA`s actions were far reaching and caused destruction to the lives of all those involved with LIP and all students that had attended their courses. The ACA showed no regard for how their actions caused the destruction of the life of Natasha Lakaev, her family and friends and her privacy and safety, all in the name of airing a piece of libellous sensationalist hype with no factual basis. When you read the responses from people both before and after the show was aired, you can see how every person is a standing member of the community and are professionals in a wide range of prominent industries and it is obvious how ridiculous the story aired by the ACA is and the accusations against Natasha Lakaev of being a cult leader.

Tall Poppy syndrome is rife in this country and this is one perfect example of where devastation has been caused to a person and their family`s lives due to a handful of people`s jealousy over her success and integrity and positive way of living. Do a little bit more research and you will see that there are always ulterior motives to these sorts of actions, in an attempt to hide the real truth about people who have sordid lives with no integrity and no real personal appeal to any solid, mentally healthy citizen.

The real story here is of an exceptional woman pioneering work in an area that no one had the understanding or capacity to expand upon at the time. Anyone working in this area today is only imitating the work that Natasha Lakaev has done and already established all those years ago. It`s really just a copy of her work and because of her silence people are making claims to things as they know she can`t step up and say something. On top of this she has no interest in the notoriety anyway. Anyone close to Natasha knows this for a fact. Natasha has no interest in being known for her work.

Any past students that did her work will know that the events occurring on the planet right now are occurring in the form and order that she predicted and because of the courses they took with LIP and Universal Knowledge these people now have the tools to understand and know how to cope with these events. It is a travesty that the general public don`t have access to this information now.

Natasha`s work is such that things like media hype and media misrepresentation and any form of propaganda, regardless of the form of media, are very easy to see through. Her work allows the human mind to work so freely, that the Australian media was confronted by the fact that shows such as A Current Affair, Australia`s Got Talent and So You Think You Can Dance would be seen by the public as very obviously staged and scripted and it is easy to see that a formula has to be fitted for these programs.

ACA has to have a cult up on the screen every few months, the government ripoff every few weeks, or the large corporation that is doing something horrific to someone. There is actually a pattern and a formula to these shows. And for years prior to this happening with LIP and the ACA, Natasha warned people that this would happen to her work. She believed it would be too confronting for the media to cope, knowing that the general Australian population (which people and the media views as quite uneducated and stupid, which is the exact opposite view to that held by Natasha of the general population) wouldn`t accept non factual media frenzy, sensationalist, unresearched, unsubstantiated, non neutral information being offered to the human condition to keep it in a numbed state. The media companies would be too concerned that the TV industry would lose its ratings and obviously job loss would result.

All the negative slant towards Natasha by the media has occurred from Natasha coming across one individual`s criminal past by accident. This generated an avalanche of negativity, confusion and devastation in an attempt to protect, hide and camouflage their own skeletons and their connection to some of the worst atrocities that have ever happened in Papua New Guinea by mercenaries. The scandal was known as Sandline and involved notable figures such as Sir Julius Chan (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandline_affair). More details can be found in Shaun Dorney`s "The Sandline Affair" (openlibrary.org/b/OL476751M), an eminent and respected journalist and author. It includes underworld characters like Nick Violaris and Ken Jacobi.

Natasha Lakaev has isolated herself since 1998, to ensure all of her client`s confidentiality is maintained and her friends and family aren`t affected. And as Natasha has kept silent, less than half a dozen people have felt that they have the right to portray her as an unsavoury character and monster when she has actually been protecting the integrity of her work and the confidentiality of her clients, both the individual clients and groups.

This has now led to Natasha eventually having to take action by using up what`s left of her finances to protect her name so that her children can have a future that is protected from this socially devastating event. And so now Natasha has commenced a series of defamation suits to set a precedence in Australia in regards to internet defamation, internet bullying and adult bullying. Her private life has been splashed in this public forum and her intentions to provide for her children have been squashed via the world wide web by individuals that feel they have the right to continue the rape and pillage of her life because they themselves have got many things to hide. Currently the defamatory actions have been narrowed down to two people, for whom there is hard evidence being collected to show they have been masquerading themselves on the internet as a number of people and building the impression to the world that this woman has done negative acts so that they can continue the stalking, harassment and life threatening behaviour that commenced in 1998.

Research the facts for yourself and decide but it will become apparent to anyone that Natasha has something to offer, she is incredibly intelligent and throughout all of this she has managed to keep a sense of who she is and a sense of humour so that her three sons do not feel beaten, devastated or vindictive to the perpetrators of this incredibly unsavoury social crime. In fact Natasha has used this as a way to show her children, family and closest friends the contradiction and controversy of the human persona.

This event in fact has allowed her children to have better coping and life skills in a world that is fast becoming untenable for many individuals and families. Perhaps their resilience is a testimony in itself to the work she designed all those years ago. Better still do one of the programmes she designed and for a small cost you will suddenly realise what you`ve been missing out on.
